What will your role be?

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will join our HR team in San Diego as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, supporting Scalian's continued expansion in the United States.

The position offers a strong development path within a fast-growing international consulting environment.

Your role will be to

This role is primarily focused on Engineering Talent Acquisition, particularly high-volume recruitment of technical profiles, while progressively developing broader HR expertise across training, HR operations, compliance, and payroll support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (primary focus)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering profiles (software, systems, industrial, data, etc.)
  • Lead high-volume recruitment campaigns in a competitive technical market
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, direct search, talent pipelines)
  • Conduct HR screening interviews and candidate assessments
  • Coordinate interview processes with technical managers and business stakeholders
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Support onboarding and integration of new hires

HR Operations & Future Scope (progressive exposure)

  • Support training initiatives and learning program coordination
  • Participate in internal mobility and retention initiatives
  • Support HR compliance activities (US labor law basics, internal policies, audits)
  • Contribute to HR reporting and operational processes
  • Provide coordination support for payroll-related processes (no direct payroll execution initially)
  • Participate in continuous improvement of HR tools and processes
Qualifications

What we're looking for in you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • More than 3 to 5 years' of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Proven experience recruiting engineering/technical profiles
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally in consulting, staffing, or engineering services environments
  • Strong interest in developing a broader HR career path beyond recruitment
  • Advanced sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques)
  • Structured interviewing and candidate assessment
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Understanding of technical/engineering environments
  • Experience working with hiring managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Autonomy and accountability
  • Results-driven mindset with attention to detail
  • Adaptability in a growing and evolving organization
  • French is a plus
