• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and objectives.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a tailored approach for each client.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards while maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and staying informed about contemporary mental health research.

This role focuses on serving diverse individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. The LPC will engage with clients ranging from adolescents to adults, emphasizing a culturally sensitive and empathetic approach to care. • A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• Strong understanding of clinical practice guidelines and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for proficiency in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions.
• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure holistic care solutions.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, contingent on your experience and the caseload you manage.
