Position: Partner Programs Manager

Location: Sandy Springs, GA (remote / hybrid)

Organization: This position reports to the SVP, Partner Programs

Position Overview: 

The Partner Programs Manager (PPM) is a key member of GreenSky’s Partner Programs team and is responsible for the overall productivity and revenue generation of an assigned portfolio of sponsor and channel partner programs. GreenSky is focused on helping our partners enable and grow their merchant networks, and so the success of the PPM will be measured by the ability to successfully:

  • Activate- Ensure new partner programs are launched and participating merchants are introduced to and actively leverage GreenSky’s solutions
  • Grow- Drive use of GreenSky’s solutions across the partner’s merchant network by identifying and solving merchant financing challenges
  • Retain -- Promote continued use of GreenSky’s solutions through best-in-class partner and merchant service and support

  • Program Launch- Lead and coordinate new and existing partner program launches to field sales, marketing teams, and channel partners, and drive initial merchant activation across the partner’s network
  • Program Growth- Drive increased consumer loan volume within an assigned partner portfolio by growing use of GreenSky’s solutions across established and underperforming merchants. Activities will include, but are not limited to, merchant onboarding, ongoing training of partner and merchant personnel, and creative program initiatives
  • Program Retention- Proactively engage in activities to prevent partner or merchant attrition and reduced use of GreenSky’s financing solutions; hold monthly and quarterly program reviews with each sponsor to drive further penetration and volume
  • Program Support- Provide timely support to assigned partners and merchants to develop loyalty and ensure a great experience, including processing pricing requests, assisting with consumer underwriting questions, and responding to partner and merchant questions
  • Program Management- Work with the Partner Programs Director to finalize sponsor contracts and assess program efficiency, incorporating changes to improve results
  • Reporting- Analyze, compile, and communicate monthly on program execution results and gaps to stakeholders and executives
  • Event & Training Coordination- Coordinate sponsor events to ensure marketing collateral and representation for merchant coverage, and coordinate sponsor training opportunities leveraging GreenSky’s National Sales Trainers

  • BA/BS degree or similar
  • 3-5+ years sales and/or relationship management experience; preferably in channel sales or partner program management
  • Proven track record of success in a quota bearing position
  • Ability to identify problems and provide compelling solutions to a variety of partner and merchant needs
  • Ability to develop professional relationships over the telephone and in web-based meetings
  • Ability to drive marketing programs between GreenSky and large organizations that generate leads for a sales team
  • Experience leading web-based client presentations, meetings, and training sessions
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Experience in construction or consumer finance a plus
  • Availability to work outside of normal hours and interact with partners and merchants across time zones as needed

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $85,000 per year to $95,000 per year + monthly commission (no cap). Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
