The Autism Program Manager/Lead is a clinical and program subject matter expert responsible for supporting ASD/ABA provider performance, program operations, and quality improvement initiatives. This role partners with providers and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes, address complex operational challenges, and drive program effectiveness. The Autism Program Manager/Lead may lead projects, mentor team members, and provide guidance on provider performance, program strategy, and operational improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage ASD/ABA provider performance through scorecards, data analysis, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Identify provider trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement using claims, quality, compliance, and outcomes data
  • Partner with providers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve quality, access, and member outcomes
  • Solve complex problems using innovative approaches, sound judgment, and cross-functional perspective
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ASD/ABA programs, provider operations, and related clinical and operational matters
  • Lead projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives across the organization
  • Analyze complex issues, develop recommendations, and influence decision-making
  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing expertise and best practices
  • Anticipate business and customer needs and identify opportunities to enhance program performance and service delivery
  • Support resource planning, operational effectiveness, and achievement of program goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Independently Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field; Licensed Ph.D.; or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • 2 years of experience with ASD or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a managed care or clinical/program setting
  • Experience supporting provider engagement, quality improvement, care coordination, utilization management, or program operations related to ASD / ABA
  • Experience leading projects, mentoring others, and collaborating across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical, provider, or operational information and recommend improvements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business applications
  • Ability to function independently and responsibly with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities
  • Dedicated, distraction free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet
  • Reside in Indiana


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Medicaid, managed care, health plan operations, provider network management, or behavioral health operations
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD and their families
  • Experience with provider quality monitoring, network performance, access management, value-based care, or fraud, waste, and abuse oversight
  • Experience developing provider training, implementing programs, or leading process improvement initiatives
  • Experience coordinating across medical, behavioral health, educational, community, and social support systems to improve member and family outcomes
  • Knowledge of ABA service delivery and ASD treatment pathways
  • Knowledge of medical necessity criteria, prior authorization, and provider documentation standards

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
