Description

Chevo is hiring an experienced Federal Program Manager to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to senior leader responsibilities overseeing the delivery and oversight of all work under the Performance Work Statements (PWS), ensuring compliance with Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) governance, CPIC requirements, Financial Management processes, and Project/Program Management deliverables.


NOTE: This position is completely remote, staff supporting this contract may be located in the Kansas City and Washington DC metropolitan areas and/or surrounding areas.  


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Primary interface with the COR, Contracting Officer, and federal leadership. 
  • Provides coordination between Task 1 Lead and Task 2 Lead. 
  • Oversee development of required contract deliverables (e.g., Program Management Plan, Monthly Work Plans, Status Reports, Transition Plans). 
  • Ensures adherence to federal IT lifecycle guidance, FITARA, TBM, and CPIC processes. 
  • Manages all contractor personnel and ensures compliance with quality, security, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 7+ years managing federal IT portfolio, capital planning, or financial management support. 
  • PMP or PgMP preferred; understanding of federal shared-cost IT environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting USDA

SALARY RANGE: $160K - $180K (subject to change)
