Help
  • You will serve as a consultant/advisor for organization in applying advanced concepts, principles, and processes for life cycle engineering/management of systems, subsystems, sensitive operations, and equipment for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • You will manage programs/projects that involve continuous course of action development and refinement, systems requirement evaluation, and systems performance analysis.
  • You will coordinate and review technical reports and recommendations, and collaborate with industry experts in furtherance of project objectives.
  • You will define project goals, develop plans, schedules, cost estimates, resource requirements, and resulting budgets to achieve established program goals and objectives on schedule and within fiscal constraints.
  • You will lead, manage, and direct ship operations activities in support of US Navy and other DoD funded acquisition and sustainment efforts.
  • You will be responsible for the development and oversight of acquisition strategies, programming, planning, budgeting, and execution of assigned project objectives.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing program requirements for the development or oversight of acquisition strategies, programming, planning, budgeting, or execution of assigned project objectives to support ship operations activities.

Additional information
This position is covered under the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) personnel system. The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $191,535. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched.
