As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Serene Steps Psychological Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diverse therapy sessions that cater to individuals, couples, and families in a supportive and confidential environment.
• Assessing each client's unique needs through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and feedback, allowing for personalized treatment plans.
• Employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to facilitate client growth and healing.
• Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of client progress in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population that ranges from individuals undergoing personal crises to couples looking to strengthen their relationships. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical services.
• Expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating customized treatment interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to foster rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• A deep commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and social justice in mental health care delivery.
