The Peer Support Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. Our facility provides not only counseling services but also obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, family planning, and dentistry. This remote role provides a unique opportunity to work from home while maintaining a connection with an outpatient office environment. You'll collaborate with the primary care team to deliver integrated care without the constraints of a traditional office setting. The schedule is flexible, with hours based on client appointment availability, allowing for an optimal work-life balance.

• Provide therapeutic counseling services to a diverse range of clients, focusing on emotional, mental, and social developmental needs.
• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes including diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, and collaborate with primary care providers on treatment plans.
• Engage in brief and focused interventions for clients requiring immediate mental health support, ensuring effective treatment strategies are utilized.
• Monitor patient progress through consistent follow-up sessions and adapt treatment approaches based on individual outcomes.
• Develop relapse prevention plans when necessary and assist patients in achieving stable functioning.
• Identify at-risk patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to create preventative health strategies.
• Document progress in treatment charts according to regulatory and organizational standards to maintain accountability.
• Provide education and resources to clients for self-management of their treatment, promoting engagement and empowerment.
• Collaborate with clinic management and other clinicians to enhance behavioral health services and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals while carrying out other related duties as assigned.

Your role as an LPC will primarily involve working with patients across various demographics, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will play an essential role in the continuum of care, working in tandem with primary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment that considers the physical, emotional, and social aspects of health.

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• Current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Profound understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidenced-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Capability to engage in collaborative care practices with other healthcare providers.
• Thorough knowledge of community resources to assist clients in accessing additional support services.

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly in integrated care environments.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with a broader patient population.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or family systems therapy.
• Background in consulting and program evaluation related to behavioral health interventions.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
