We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time or part-time remote position at Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide care to patients from the comfort of your home using telehealth platforms. • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes to evaluate diagnostic needs and functional capabilities, subsequently providing recommendations to primary care providers regarding treatment goals.
• Deliver brief and focused therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring effective mental health support.
• Collaborate with primary care teams to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, contributing to holistic patient care.
• Establish follow-up strategies to monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
• Create and implement preventive plans to manage at-risk populations, assisting patients in achieving stable functioning.
• Coordinate behavioral health services, liaising with both internal healthcare providers and external specialists at the patient’s consent.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and progress notes accurately to ensure continuity of care within the treatment chart.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies, empowering them to engage actively in their own therapeutic processes.
• Provide consultancy support to clinic management regarding behavioral services and participate in program evaluations aimed at improving outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to ethical conduct standards as defined for clinical professionals.

The patients you will work with range from children to adults facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and developmental disorders. Our clinic's integrated approach means that you will often collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses both mental and physical health needs. You will be essential in fostering recovery and improving quality of life for individuals and families impacted by mental health issues.

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Georgia.
• Expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and clinical methodologies, specifically with DSM-IV diagnoses.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish therapeutic relationships with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of psychodiagnostic frameworks and therapeutic techniques, enabling effective intervention strategies.
• Capacity to maintain clinical records and prepare detailed reports in alignment with clinic protocols.
• Effective cooperative skills to function successfully within interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality in all operations.

While not mandatory, proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader range of patients. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies would be an asset as we transition to more remote patient interactions.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
