Job description

The Associate VP, Transformation & Program Delivery strategically implements Government programs and contracts (TRICARE, Veterans, etc.) while leading a portfolio of transformational initiatives. In this remote role, you will report to the VP of Strategy. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, including the Military Leadership Team, beneficiaries and market leadership across Transition in and out of contract and change orders. You will work closely with Executive Program Leads to advance high-priority efforts across contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
  • Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Service)
  • HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15 years leadership experience in health plan management
  • 5 years experience with Government as a client and government contracting reporting requirements (Federal or State)
  • Experience with IT project implementations
  • Experience leading large-scale healthcare client implementations
  • Experience in claims, call and clinical operations and performance management/financial tracking
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$203,400 - $279,800 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
