Job description

The Manager, Product Management is responsible for analysis of, and oversight over product design and features for personal and commercial deposit products. The Manager, Product Management focuses on maximizing product profitability, product competitiveness, the depth of product adoption and usage, and member satisfaction. This position will also help manage the deposit portfolio projection model. They will work closely with Card Services, Business Operations, Branch Delivery, Value Delivery Office, Marketing, Accounting, Remote Delivery and other areas to ensure that business objectives are met. 
The Manager, Product Management will also manage the Product Analytics Specialist. The Product Analytics Specialist will report directly to the Manager, Product Management, and the Manager, Product Management will be responsible for training, coaching and evaluating the Product Analytics Specialist.

Essential Functions:
Conduct regular research to 1) benchmark Delta Community's pricing and product features against primary competitors'; 2) identify members' product preferences along with their satisfaction with our current offerings; and/or 3) stay on top of emerging trends and technologies that affect our competitive position and/or member satisfaction, 4) share findings and develop response strategies.
Partner with Information Management & Analytics and Finance on the ongoing development of a product profitability model that allows us to better track and understand the primary revenue and expense drivers of our transactional and savings products. Analyze reporting to ensure we are both covering our operational costs and delivering optimal value to members. Help ensure feature and functionality that have lower usage rates are priced at a higher margin or discontinued in order to invest in new conveniences.
Recommend new products or product enhancements that will keep Delta Community's deposit products competitive and profitable.
Perform detailed modeling and/or analysis of product penetration levels and on product profitability.
Manage overall deposit portfolio.
Support at all stages of product development/enhancement, providing feedback and metrics where applicable.  
Complete the required technical documents necessary to initiate new projects or initiatives that are generated. 
Assist in recommending rates for deposit products each month.
Facilitate & lead required meetings.
Ensure business requirements are clearly defined.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders.
Clarify business criteria, processes and requirements. 
Communicate updates to the scope, complexity and effort requirements to VP-Product Management Development.
Facilitate iterative requirements review and updates.
Work with vendors, as required.
Lead, coach and mentor the Product Analytics Specialist
