Position Title: Vice President of Product Management

Position Overview / Purpose
The Vice President of Product Management is the enterprise leader responsible for defining and executing Sycle's product strategy across its SaaS-based practice management platform for hearing healthcare providers.
This role owns the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring Sycle delivers a differentiated, scalable, and market-leading solution that drives customer value, multi-million dollar revenue growth, and long-term competitive advantage.
The VP of Product Management will lead Sycle through a critical phase of growth and transformation, including:
  • Scaling the product organisation, processes, and capabilities to support a ~120-person company entering its next stage of growth
  • Building and developing a high-performing, geographically distributed Product Management and UX organisation
  • Driving innovation in practice management and EHR-adjacent capabilities
  • Leading the integration of GenAI and emerging technologies into both product experience and product development workflows

This leader will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, partnering closely with the President and executive team while effectively leading teams and stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.
Key Accountabilities
1. Market Knowledge, Insights & External Engagement
  • Develop deep expertise in the hearing healthcare ecosystem, including private practice workflows, EHR/practice management systems, and regulatory environments in the US (and ideally Canada)
  • Monitor competitor platforms, emerging health tech trends, and AI-driven innovation shaping the industry
  • Analyse reimbursement models, clinic economics, and operational workflows to identify product opportunities
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and industry leaders to inform product direction
  • Translate market, regulatory, and technology trends into actionable product strategy

2. Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
  • Define and maintain a cohesive, multi-year product vision and roadmap for Sycle's platform
  • Ensure prioritisation balances customer impact, revenue growth, scalability, and technical sustainability
  • Establish clear product value propositions across customer segments
  • Lead investment decisions across core platform, integrations, data capabilities, and AI-enabled features
  • Drive alignment across the organisation through effective governance and decision-making frameworks

3. Product-Led Growth, Commercialisation & Go-to-Market
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to define product-led growth strategies and scalable go-to-market models
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and monetisation strategies aligned with SaaS best practices
  • Ensure strong product positioning, messaging, and customer value articulation
  • Build repeatable product launch processes, including beta programs and rollout strategies
  • Enable customer-facing teams to drive adoption, retention, and expansion

4. Product Lifecycle & Performance Optimisation
  • Own product performance across key metrics: adoption, engagement, retention, revenue contribution, and customer satisfaction
  • Establish data-driven decision-making practices and continuous feedback loops
  • Drive lifecycle strategies that maximise customer lifetime value and platform stickiness
  • Identify opportunities for platform expansion and ecosystem development
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on product performance and growth

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure high-quality, scalable, and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to incorporate user feedback into product improvements
  • Align with Compliance and Regulatory stakeholders on healthcare requirements
  • Resolve cross-functional trade-offs with clear accountability
  • Ensure strong communication and alignment across all departments

6. Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing, geographically distributed Product Management and UX organisation
  • Establish strong operating rhythms and governance across multiple locations and time zones
  • Hire, develop, and retain top talent, with a strong focus on coaching and mentorship

  • Position Sycle as an innovator in the practice management and digital health ecosystem

Key Incumbent Requirements
Experience & Background
  • 15+ years of experience in product management within SaaS environments
  • 10+ years leading and scaling product teams in health tech or digital health
  • Strong experience with practice management, EHR, or healthcare workflow software
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-centric, scalable SaaS products
  • Experience operating in growth-stage companies
  • Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies

Leadership & Capability
  • Proven ability to build and scale product organisations, including developing senior leaders
  • Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Domain Expertise
