Job description

What You'll Do
As a Product Transformation Coach focused on transformative change, your role is to partner with senior leaders, product leaders, and cross-functional teams to improve how they solve complex problems in ways that benefit customers and deliver business outcomes. You will operate as a trusted advisor across a broad portfolio, helping leaders strengthen judgment, accountability, and decision quality in product, delivery, and technology environments.
Your work will influence not only how teams operate, but how leaders think about outcomes, value, and continuous improvement.
Your day could look like this:
  • Coach senior leaders, product leaders, and cross-functional teams on leadership behaviors, accountability, and decision-making aligned to healthy product, delivery, and organizational agility.
  • Serve as the primary or lead coach for a portfolio of teams, products, or value streams.
  • Guide leaders and teams in applying agile, lean, product, and systems-thinking practices that are fit for purpose and cohesive across the value chain.
  • Partner with leaders to translate strategy into outcome-driven objectives, learning agendas, and execution plans.
  • Design and deliver learning experiences, artifacts, and enablement materials that help leaders and teams apply new ways of working in real, in-flight work.
  • Use data and qualitative signals to assess progress, surface constraints, and guide continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across product, engineering, delivery, data, and business functions to enable sustainable change.

Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. We take pride in being a purpose-led firm, motivated by our mission to make financial security accessible to all. Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years.
Who You Are
  • 10+ years in agile, product, design setting
  • 3+ years of product coaching experience
  • 3+ years of team / team of team coaching experience
  • 1+ years' portfolio level coaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformative changes across multiple teams or portfolios in a hybrid business and technology organization
  • Experience coaching senior leaders and senior individual contributors as a trusted advisor
  • Strong grounding in product management, delivery management, engineering, or design, with the ability to coach across domains
  • Ability to engage leaders with respectful candor and help improve judgment, clarity, and accountability
  • You value principles over frameworks
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
  • Ability to design practical learning experiences and artifacts that leaders actually use
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and navigating complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong written communication skills for executive and leader-facing materials
  • Experience supporting large-scale change initiatives or learning journeys
