Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments upon client intake and as clinically indicated, exploring social, emotional, and physical needs to identify and overcome barriers to care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement personalized psychosocial treatment plans, effectively coordinating referrals to necessary specialty services and community resources.
• Provide individual and family counseling focused on coping strategies for managing the psychological and environmental impacts of illness and life transitions.
• Independently manage a dynamic caseload that includes clients with varying degrees of clinical acuity, responding to their changing needs with appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in proactive case finding to identify clients who may benefit from additional psychosocial support, and participate actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families, facilitating their adaptation to diagnoses and treatment regimens, especially during transitions from youth to adult services.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives aimed at improving the delivery of social work services, contributing to policy and procedure development as needed.
• Make mental health diagnoses as necessary, integrating findings into comprehensive treatment planning.
• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to Master of Social Work candidates and interns, fostering their professional development.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in alignment with organizational and health system guidelines, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in conducting effective assessments, strong interviewing techniques, and an understanding of various counseling methodologies.
• A demonstrated ability to produce detailed case narratives and reports that accurately reflect client interactions and progress.
• Knowledgeable in applying social work theories, principles, and techniques to behavioral health scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with experience in telehealth practices, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and exposure to interdisciplinary care models will be given priority. Compensation and Benefits
