Job Description
Join our team as Director, Global Sales and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure/transient business to maximize room revenue for Auberge Collection. Experience in US, Mexico & European resort destinations is essential.
  • Support Auberge Collection revenue goals by generating leisure transient business
  • Support hotel revenue goals by generating leisure group/transient business
  • Work with tourism organizations to maximize opportunities
  • Organize and schedule direct sales efforts via phone, email, virtual and in person; an average of 5 business development efforts per day are expected (25 per week)
  • Target key accounts to host familiarization trips to increase ROI
  • Evaluate and initiate opportunities for developing new sources of business
  • Build effective relationships with wholesale accounts that support the hotel's wholesale strategy.
  • Support and participate in daily calls and property specific calls as needed
  • Accurately maintain and build Salesforce database of clients
  • Establish appropriate remote workstation
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards of sales service
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in a mature and professional manner while representing the company
  • Maintain customer, trade, industry, and team member relations
  • Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned

Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience with established relationships in the region, in a related position in a luxury hotel sales and/or regional environment
  • Demonstrated excellent record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environments
  • Ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence transient business decision makers and influencers.
  • Ability to research and identify top prospects for growth of existing accounts and develop new accounts
  • Ability to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to manage extensive amounts of information
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and understand financial data
  • Knowledge of sales procedures associated with the hotel industry
  • Ability to present clear, concise, and meaningful information to guests, executives, managers, and employees
  • Ability to sell ideas persuasively and energetically.
  • Excellent written skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with luxury travel agencies and consortia
  • Strong computer skills (GSuite, LinkedIn, Delphi, Salesforce, MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to plan and execute sales trips on budget and in compliance with corporate travel policy.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible days and hours (with appropriate travel documents, i.e. drivers license, Real ID, and passport)
  • Experience selling US, European & Mexico resort destinations in a luxury sales environment
  • Experience representing resorts with residential and villa product
  • Experience working in a remote sales office setting
  • Experience working with professional organizations that support the leisure travel industry
  • Preferred technical skills: Knowledge of GDS, Opera PMS

Travel requirements:
  • Travel domestically and internationally for trade shows or regional sales missions
  • Travel to resorts as requested for sites, meetings and travel professional related fams
  • Travel for internal sales and marketing meetings
  • Travel to assist with limited on-site coverage as needed

Additional Information
This role offers a base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 plus a comprehensive medical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits, 401k employer match, employer paid life insurance, employee assistance program and a team member hotel stay program.
