Join our Paper Operations Team and play a key role in optimizing and improving process control systems, from raw materials to finished products. We are looking for candidates with experience in paper and plastic converting this experience is a plus.

What We Are Looking For.. 

  • Experience in paper converting or similar industries like plastic converting -- a strong plus!
  • Understanding of paper dynamics and converting processes.
  • Background in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Board experience from a paper mill is a bonus.
  • Quick learners with strong problem-solving skills 

What You'll Do...

  • Support converting processes for paper cups and other substrates.
  • Lead projects to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate across teams to implement cutting-edge solutions.
  • Manage and complete projects of varying sizes and durations
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and designers to optimize processes
  • Lead process failure investigations and implement long-term solutions
  • Conduct feasibility studies for fabrication and processing improvements
  • Assist with assembly and disassembly of process equipment
  • Troubleshoot and implement engineering solutions to enhance operations
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes
  • Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and product quality
  • Create test parameters and analyze performance data for process optimization
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement plans
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers

What You'll Need...

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience analyzing production equipment, processes and materials and solving issues
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills
  • Ability to conduct feasibility studies and troubleshoot engineering issues
  • Experience in developing SOPs and continuous improvement plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, additional travel may be required during critical projects or business demands
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
