Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and engage in clinical interviews with clients to understand their concerns and devise tailored therapeutic approaches.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and systemic therapy informed by evidence-based practices.
  • Provide support for individuals, couples, and families, facilitating sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relational dynamics.
  • Monitor progress throughout therapeutic engagement, maintaining detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and assessments as per organizational and legal requirements.
  • Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary, functioning as a key resource in urgent situations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including peer supervision and consultation, to refine your skills and maintain your licensure.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives and workshops to promote mental health awareness in the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse individuals and families who experience a spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and family conflicts. The emphasis on outpatient care allows you to engage with clients in a supportive and empowering environment, fostering trust and encouraging personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a valid and current LMFT license in the state of Oregon, with a clean disciplinary record.
  • Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic interventions with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and competence in conducting effective remote therapy sessions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a variety of client demographics, specifically in outpatient settings.
  • Knowledge and training in specific therapeutic modalities, such as EMDR or play therapy, are advantageous.
