As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions, to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening and assessment tools for diagnosing and effectively supporting clients, collaborating closely with our clinical team.
• Work in synergy with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that align with best practices.
• Engage actively in all processes pertaining to licensing and accreditation to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Act as a liaison with state agencies, service systems, and community partners, enhancing resource sharing and program visibility.
• Maintain open communication channels to meet contract standards and uphold our organizational mission within the community.
• Establish and nurture relationships with various local, state, and federal organizations for collaboration and securing additional funding opportunities.
• Commit to your professional growth by participating in training, attending conferences, and representing the agency in relevant forums.
• Uphold and promote the values, principles, and philosophy of our agency in every aspect of your work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support team goals and client outcomes.

Our client population includes individuals grappling with emotional and mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use, and individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. As a counselor, you will empower these individuals by providing tailored strategies, counseling sessions, and resources aimed at fostering resilience and promoting holistic recovery.

The successful candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.
• An independent LMHC license that is active and in good standing.
