This role will primarily be remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance while you engage with our patients. Although you'll work from home, expect to have strong support from a collaborative team of professionals. Our outpatient office setting facilitates clinical and operational engagements, making teamwork and communication essential in delivering care that aligns with each individual’s needs and goals. Regular team meetings, peer consultations, and training opportunities will be a staple of your interaction to build a strong community of practice.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
• Facilitate consultation during the creation of crisis management, behavioral guidelines, risk management plans, and medication treatment strategies.
• Ensure that all clinical documentation meets regulatory standards and is completed promptly to facilitate best practices in client care.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to accurately evaluate patient conditions, working closely with clinical teams to implement effective treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to devise and execute positive behavior support plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, representing our organization’s commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
• Establish open lines of communication with service systems, state agencies, and community partners to foster a network of support.
• Engage in continuous professional growth by attending conferences, workshops, and relevant meetings to stay abreast of trends in mental health care.
• Commit to promoting Empath Behavioral Services’ mission and values while contributing to strategic community engagement activities.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall operational effectiveness.

The LPCC role focuses on a diverse range of clients, including those facing emotional distress, substance use challenges, and developmental disabilities. Our approach is individualized, emphasizing empathy and empowerment to foster recovery and independence. You will work with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive and person-centered care that respects unique life experiences, facilitating their journey toward emotional wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess an Independent LPCC License in California, demonstrating competence in providing clinical services.

• Previous experience working with patients with dual diagnoses or complex behavioral needs is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a healthcare team and effectively communicate with community partners shall be considered an asset.
• A background in utilizing evidence-based practices within clinical settings is preferred.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus of $3,000. In addition to a robust salary package, we provide monthly productivity bonuses, comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), accrued PTO and sick time, and a 403B retirement plan with a 3% match.
