As a licensed mental health therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Collaborating with other treatment providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation, including session notes and treatment plans, to support effective communication and continuity of care.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A current and valid license in the state of New Jersey as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience (minimum of 2 years) in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective therapy sessions and documentation.
• A strong ability to build rapport with clients, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Leadership qualities that promote collaboration and a positive team dynamic.

While not mandatory, candidates with knowledge of community mental health resources or those who have worked in telehealth settings may have an added advantage in understanding our operational model and client needs. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.
