Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging directly with clients to collaboratively set and achieve individualized treatment goals.
  • Providing evidence-based, prevention-oriented therapy to address mental health concerns.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborating with external treatment providers and placement agencies to ensure cohesive care strategies.
  • Completing documentation promptly and maintaining accurate session notes to facilitate continuity of care.
  • Attending regular staff meetings to share insights and foster a cohesive team environment.
  • Enhancing our clinic's environment and culture through participation in team-building initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve represent a diverse demographic with varying mental health needs. Our therapeutic approach values inclusivity and respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual. You might work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges, aiming to provide supportive and effective treatment that fosters resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current and valid mental health licensure in Tennessee (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated competency in mental health counseling practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish a rapport with clients effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach towards client care.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with professional experience and credentials. Benefits include:
