Position Summary

The POS Support Technician will provide technical support to merchants, agents, and resellers while assisting with the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS systems and related hardware. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide phone-based technical support to merchants, resellers, and agents.
  • Document all support requests, issues, and resolutions accurately.
  • Resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare, configure, and stage POS hardware and software for deployment.
  • Maintain POS department equipment, tools, and inventory.
  • Perform hardware repairs and replacements both in-house and at customer locations as needed.
  • Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and document software and hardware issues.
  • Install and configure POS software, hardware, cabling, networking equipment, and related systems.
  • Monitor system performance and diagnose operational issues.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to associates, merchants, and resellers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.


Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • POS, PC support, or related technical support experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work off-site occasionally.
  • Ability to travel for business when required.
  • ComTIA A+ Certification is a big plus


Pay rate: $20/hr - $29/hr DOE
