Bright Valley Mental Health is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, allowing the LCSW to manage their time effectively while interacting with clients from the comfort of their own home. The position involves periodic check-ins and collaborations with team members via teleconferencing tools, ensuring that you remain connected with a supportive multidisciplinary team of professionals who value your contributions to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of clients, employing interventions that promote healing and resilience.
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments, utilizing tools and methodologies that gather essential client information to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their immediate safety and promoting coping strategies.
• Assist clients in identifying and gaining access to community resources, including housing assistance, healthcare services, and financial aid, that facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, other therapists, and medical staff to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to patient care, improving client outcomes through shared insights and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to track progress and inform treatment decisions.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey and supporting their long-term wellness goals through education and resource identification.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW with Bright Valley Mental Health, you'll work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and their families. This role is focused on addressing a variety of mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral issues, particularly within school settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health or social services, providing therapy and case management.
• Proficiency in therapeutic interventions, case management, and crisis de-escalation tactics.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing techniques, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, crucial for effective client engagement and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, candidates with more extensive backgrounds in school social work or those familiar with diverse therapeutic modalities such as play therapy or art therapy will be given preference. Experience with community mental health resources in Georgia will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Bright Valley Mental Health offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
