Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to guide clients toward improved mental health outcomes and personal empowerment.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, demonstrating your commitment to professional integrity and high-quality care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the overall quality of care provided to our clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering resilience and facilitating informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at New Era Family Behavioral Services, you will serve a diverse population, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults, who are seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, reflecting your commitment to mental health excellence.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• Proven expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for establishing rapport with clients and fostering therapeutic relationships.
