• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, allowing for the development of individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique experiences of each patient.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients, considering their cultural backgrounds and life contexts.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a variety of mental health concerns, thereby promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective responses to urgent psychological needs.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and involvement in their care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records according to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, and engage in ongoing cultural competency training sessions to continuously improve service delivery.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural responsiveness in therapy practices.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, focusing on inclusivity and cultural awareness.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
• A commitment to ethical guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Previous work in multicultural settings, particularly in outpatient psychiatry or community health clinics, will be advantageous.
• Experience developing and leading community-oriented mental health programs is a plus.
