Gentle Care Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. • Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations of clients and their families to identify social, emotional, and economic factors that can affect their healthcare experience.
• Provide telehealth therapy sessions, applying trauma-informed care methods tailored to each client’s unique challenges and circumstances.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up consultations, ensuring they receive the appropriate services and interventions.
• Research and advocate for community resources such as food assistance, childcare, and healthcare services to enhance clients' overall well-being.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, including child abuse or acute mental health emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions to protect and support clients.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and billing procedures in accordance with Department of Mental Health requirements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals dealing with substance use disorders as well as pre-existing trauma. You will work with a diverse population that may include veterans, individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, and those facing significant life challenges. Your empathetic and skilled approach will help them navigate their path to recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) license, which is essential for providing clinical services in the state.
• At least two years of experience delivering mental health services, with a preference for candidates who have worked in health-related settings.

• Experience working with veterans or in settings that cater specifically to their needs.
• Familiarity with the Department of Mental Health billing and documentation requirements.
• Background in parent-child interventions and a solid understanding of child development, parenting strategies, and issues related to child abuse and neglect.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively counsel, advise, and support patients.
