Job description

Job Title: Program Evaluation, CQI and Accreditation Director Location: Pittsburgh, PA Type: Direct Hire Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Overview: Leads team and directs medical education program evaluation operations. Designs and implements program evaluation measures and executes ongoing continuous quality improvement and accreditation efforts. Leads strategic planning efforts and ensures compliance with regulations. Supports personnel in the execution of program evaluation efforts, communicates recommendations and improvements, and contributes to educational research projects. Develops annual budgets and performs related financial duties

Responsibilities

  • Directs medical education program evaluation efforts, initiatives, and operations; assesses, designs, and implements metrics and analyses to evaluate programs.
  • Oversee all aspects of LCME accreditation, including self-studies, data collection, site visit preparation, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Design and implement CQI initiatives that extend beyond compliance, supporting institutional mission and long-term goals.
  • Ensure the Data Collection Instrument (DCI), Independent Student Analysis (ISA), and committee reports are accurate, timely, and complete
  • Creates, executes, and monitors ongoing continuous quality improvement and accreditation
  • efforts; ensures compliance with regulations and alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Leads strategic and operational planning efforts; creates, implements, and monitors initiatives.
  • Analyzes, documents, and communicates recommendations and improvements to internal
  • constituent groups.
  • Contributes to educational research projects.
  • Develops and monitors annual budgets. Oversees financial reporting, audits, and other related
  • activities.
  • Educates and supports faculty and staff in administering evaluations and conducting analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in CQI, accreditation
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance in higher education.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant project management tools.
