Job description

DESCRIPTION: Psychological Dimensions is a growing, innovative, and industry-leading Atlanta-based police and public safety and risk management forensic consulting firm looking for a Hybrid/Remote Staff Psychologist to join our diverse team. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art forensic risk management psychological evaluations to law enforcement, public safety, and private organizations. Our firm also conducts risk assessments and consultations with television networks and the media. Psychological Dimensions’ services primarily include psychological pre-employment screening, critical incident debriefing, wellness training, and annual wellness visits, specialty placement assignments (e.g., SWAT), risk and threat assessment, and police/public safety and corporate fitness for duty evaluations. About the Role  

The Remote Staff Psychologist will: 

  • Undergo in-depth training to develop the skills necessary to excel in police and public safety/risk management psychological consulting. 
  • Conduct remote pre- and post-offer psychological evaluations with public safety agencies/private corporations. 
  • Conduct remote psychological risk/threat assessments. 
  • Conduct remote psychological fitness for duty assessments of law enforcement, public safety and civilian personnel. 
  • Provide remote day-to-day client support concerning hiring and officer safety and wellness. 
  • Conduct remote critical incident debriefings. 


About You  

The Remote Staff Psychologist will have: 

  • An independent, unrestricted license to practice psychology in your state (license-eligible will be considered if currently independently licensed to practice psychology out-of-state). 
  • PSYPACT Eligibility - Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). 
  • 2+ years of experience in practicing high-quality psychological assessment. 
  • A strong understanding of psychological test interpretation. 
  • Superb writing skills and excellent efficiency in report writing. 
  • Independence and will be self-motivated and directed. 
  • Superior technological abilities to handle working remotely using Office 365 and video conferencing.
