Job description

A top client in the artificial turf industry is searching for an experienced and remote-based National Account Manager (NAM). As the NAM, you will be instrumental in managing and expanding our portfolio of national accounts. Your role will focus on maintaining exceptional customer relationships, addressing and resolving client concerns, bringing in 1-2 new accounts, and ensuring the seamless execution of new surfacing installations by collaborating with project management teams.

As the National Account Manager, you will:

· Help to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for national accounts to drive revenue growth.

· Manage and nurture relationships with existing national account clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

· Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new business and service enhancements.

· Respond to customer emails and inquiries, providing top-tier service and support.

· Strategically identify and acquire new national accounts to contribute to company growth.

· Collaborate closely with project managers to guarantee smooth and timely installations of new playground surfacing.

· Continually assess customer feedback to improve service and installation processes.

· Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

· Target and bring on board additional national accounts each year to evolve and expand business. Goal is 1-2 new accounts per year.

· Respond to customers’ questions, quote requests, and orders in a timely fashion.

· Travel to trade shows and meet with national account/distributors regularly to maintain relationships.

· Meet and exceed performance targets for account management and business development.

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

· Proven experience in the recreation or playground industry is highly preferred.

· Solid track record of working with and managing national accounts.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

· Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
