• Conduct individual therapy sessions remotely, utilizing video conferencing tools to foster connection and engagement with clients.
• Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to unique mental health goals.
• Continuously monitor client progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting treatment strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in our secure electronic system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to deliver holistic care and address complex client needs.
• Stay informed about best practices in teletherapy and engage in ongoing training to enhance therapeutic skills.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Fallon Psychotherapy, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our diverse client base reflects different backgrounds and experiences, allowing for a rich and rewarding therapeutic environment. You will foster a supportive therapeutic relationship, focusing on empowering clients to overcome challenges and achieve mental wellness.

• A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a mental health therapist in California, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• Previous experience providing individual therapy, particularly through telehealth platforms.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote consultations, demonstrating comfort with technology in therapeutic settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients quickly.
• Self-motivated, with the capability to navigate independent work while also being a collaborative team player.
