Planview Solution Architect

Location: New York City Hybrid Remote
Employment Type: Full-time Contract
Compensation: $75 hour
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Planview Solution Architect to join their team. This is a high-impact role responsible for designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-level solutions leveraging the Planview platform.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Planview modules and a strong ability to partner with business and IT stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes, optimize processes, and maximize platform value.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with finance and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable solutions using Planview
  • Design and present technical solutions, including architecture diagrams and implementation approaches
  • Lead solution design across Planview modules, including Portfolios, Enterprise Architecture, and AgilePlace
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration with enterprise systems
  • Drive adoption and optimization of Planview platforms to improve process maturity, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials aligned with governance and best practices
  • Participate actively in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and support iterative delivery processes
  • Contribute to knowledge management by creating, updating, and retiring documentation and knowledge articles
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and integration standards

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions using Planview
  • Proven experience with at least 3 full lifecycle Planview implementations
  • Strong expertise across Planview modules, including Portfolios, Enterprise Architecture, and AgilePlace
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
  • Background working with enterprise system integrations
  • Familiarity with other Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Planview certifications or related technical certifications
  • Experience driving governance, process standardization, and operational maturity
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing practices
