Your role and responsibilities

In this role youwill be responsible for forecasting product demand across four global manufacturing facilities, ensuring Supply chain optimization with Procurement team and production planning to meet customer requirements in the UPS industry. This role involves analyzing market trends, collaborating with sales teams and factory managers, and balancing supply chain efficiency across multiple regions to minimize costs while maintaining high service levels.

Work model: Remote /Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Acting as the global planning point of contact for the defined product line
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process optimization to reduce overall end-to-end lead times, inventory, including Sales In Excess (SIE) of invoicing, and customer on-time delivery, improving fulfillment and value chain visibility.
  • Creating and maintaining rolling 18-24 months of unconstrained demand
    forecasts for assigned product line
  • Supporting local operations planners, master schedule planners, and material planners in implementing new processes and/or tools for supply- & demand planning.
  • Supporting the implementation of planning and fulfillment strategies aligned with the business strategy in Critical Power factories
  • Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including inventory, on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.
  • Establishing and shares best practices for operations planning, inventory management, and resource management.

Qualification for the role

  • BA degree in engineering (ideally industrial, electrical engineering) or Business Engineering or Supply Chain or any degree with relevant years of experience in the area
  • Preferred background in supply planning or/and demand planning within a global environment
  • At least 3 years of experiencein similar role
  • Strong expertise in inventory management, optimization and analytics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good stakeholders' relationship management skills
  • Advanced data analytics capabilities with a focus on operational performance improvement
  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP MM/PP modules
  • Strong data visualization and analytical skills ( e.g. PBI)
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
