As a remote counselor at Ventures Diagnostic Services, you will work in a fully virtual outpatient setting, providing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering vital mental health services. Our technological infrastructure supports seamless communication with clients and interdisciplinary teams, allowing for effective interventions and holistic care. You will utilize teletherapy platforms that are secure and user-friendly, ensuring that your clients feel comfortable and safe during their sessions. • Conduct initial assessments to identify client needs and concerns, creating individualized treatment plans based on collaborative discussions with clients.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions via telehealth, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique experiences of each client.
• Engage in regular case discussions with interdisciplinary teams to devise comprehensive treatment approaches, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s wellbeing are considered.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and training that keep you informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback and innovative ideas aimed at enhancing therapeutic services.
• Offer crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring client safety during moments of acute distress, and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records that comply with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that client privacy is protected.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and research in the mental health field to continually refine your therapeutic approach.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By employing a culturally competent framework, you will provide inclusive and affirming care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Your interventions will not only focus on alleviating symptoms but also on enhancing the overall quality of life for your clients, facilitating their journey toward emotional resilience and stability.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in California as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, allowing you to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• At least two years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals and groups, with a preference for candidates who have worked with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client progress and treatment plans effectively.
• A track record of using evidence-based treatment modalities within therapeutic practice.
• Commitment to ongoing education, professional growth, and cultural competence in mental health practice.

As a full-time mental health counselor at Ventures Diagnostic Services, you can expect an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a monthly healthcare stipend that promotes your personal well-being.
