This role offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from any location within the state of California. You will be collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors. • Conduct detailed clinical assessments using structured interviews and standardized instruments to understand client needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other recognized therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Participate in monthly case consultations and peer review sessions to continuously improve treatment quality and share insights with your team.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Stay informed on the latest research developments and therapeutic techniques in mental health to ensure that clients receive the most effective care possible.

You will be serving a diverse clientele seeking support for various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related conditions. Our treatment philosophy is focused on building relationships with clients, helping them to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies that lead to sustainable mental health improvement.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A state-issued license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in employing solution-focused therapy techniques to cater to individual client needs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to adapt therapeutic approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• A collaborative spirit, working well within a team environment while appreciating the contributions of colleagues.

While a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate in a related field will be given preference. Additionally, previous experience in a mental health counseling setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
