  • Lead global market intelligence initiatives from forecasts, trends, opportunity analysis, and competitive environment evaluation for Eppendorf's portfolio.

  • Create an intuitive central knowledge hub for managing market reports and making insights accessible and actionable for internal stakeholders.

  • Connect with key customers, assess market analytics and customer/competitor portfolios, to translate findings into strategic recommendations.

  • Drive regional strategic business development by scouting, identifying and engaging potential investment and collaboration partners to support Eppendorf's longterm growth initiatives.

  • Act as technology and innovation scout, identifying emerging technologies and solutions in life science, biotech/industrial, pharma and clinical environments and feeding them into future product development considerations.

  • Lead or support collaborative projects with external technology or business partners to analyze Eppendorf's strengths and improvement areas.

What sets you apart
  • 5+ years of experience in market research, consulting and/or business/market intelligence, with a strong track record of translating data into strategic recommendations.

  • Solid scientific or technical background and excellent insight into lifescience, biological and biomedical sciences, biotech/industrial, pharma and clinical environments.

  • Experience with competitive intelligence, market research and business development methods and tools, particularly for new markets or emerging technologies.

  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment at the interface of R&D, sales, marketing, business development and new market development, and interacting confidently with stakeholders on all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree or PhD is preferred. You bring a genuine passion for science, enjoy working independently and are confident in decisionmaking and defending your ideas and analytics.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including strong presentation and visualization skills and the ability to orchestrate complex processes and deliver on time to highvisibility stakeholders.
