Job description

Our client, an A-rated and well-established insurance carrier, is looking to add a Senior Inside Property Claims Specialist for a fully remote opportunity. This individual will be responsible for managing a mix of Homeowners and Commercial property losses from initial intake through final resolution. The role involves handling complex, high-exposure losses, including claims related to wind, fire, hail, vandalism, theft, and water damage.
Qualified candidates should be well versed in ImageRight and Xactimate while also holding an active adjusters license. Prefer candidates to reside in NJ, NY, PA or in the New England region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess residential and commercial property claims to determine coverage, liability, and extent of loss
  • Negotiate and resolve claims efficiently while delivering a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with policyholders, contractors, and third-party vendors to evaluate damages and move claims toward resolution
  • Maintain thorough and accurate claim documentation, updating reserves as exposure changes
  • Prepare estimates using Xactimate and ensure cost-effective claim handling
  • Adhere to internal guidelines, regulatory standards, and industry best practices throughout the claims process
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience handling first-party property claims (homeowners and/or commercial) in a desk adjusting role with an insurance carrier
  • Strong proficiency in Xactimate and ImageRight
  • Experience with Guidewire is preferred
  • Familiarity with MSO policy is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary ranging from $95,000 - $110,000, plus bonus potential up to 15%
