This position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office presence at our outpatient facility in Santa Ana. • Conduct thorough patient intakes and evaluations to assess diagnostic and functional concerns, making informed recommendations for treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers to recognize and manage mental health conditions within the clinic setting.
• Provide brief interventions for patients in need of immediate mental health support, ensuring efficient referral processes to specialty services when needed.
• Initiate follow-up communications with patients to monitor their progress, offering adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop and implement relapse prevention strategies, assisting clients to maintain stable mental health.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, keeping comprehensive clinical records that inform ongoing treatment and program efficacy.
• Educate patients about self-management techniques and healthy lifestyle choices, empowering them in their recovery process.
• Provide insights and recommendations to clinic management on behavioral health services and program evaluations.
• Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client base facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions. Flexibility in approach and an understanding of community-specific issues are essential to effectively meet the needs of our patients. Your work will directly influence the mental health outcomes of individuals and families within our community, promoting their overall well-being and resilience.

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• A current Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license is required.
• Expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral therapies.
• Thorough understanding of developmental psychopathology and systemic approaches in therapy.
• Proficiency in documenting and maintaining clinical records effectively.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a wider patient demographic.
• Familiarity with community resources and the ability to leverage these to support patient care.
• Experience in providing care in a primary care setting, working alongside other healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of psychodiagnostics and modern psychotherapeutic techniques.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
