• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions effectively, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other solution-focused approaches, to address specific challenges faced by students.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators, school nurses, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care for students.
• Engage in case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing insights and learning from the experiences of colleagues to improve treatment quality.
• Provide educational sessions to students, families, and school staff on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health to continually enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.

Your clinical focus will be primarily on school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. Working closely with the school community, you will have the opportunity to foster resilience, promote mental wellness, and support students in achieving their academic potential.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a preference for those with a focus on psychotherapy in school or community settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team framework.

• Experience working within school systems or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local community resources and referral networks for additional client support.
• Previous engagement in public speaking or educational initiatives within schools.
