This role is mainly remote and allows for flexibility while being part of a collaborative outpatient team. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that they reflect their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), tailored to the client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
• Monitor and track clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.
• Stay updated with the latest research and clinical advancements in mood disorders to continually enhance treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to team discussions, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Advocate for client needs and mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Your work will directly impact individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, as well as those facing life challenges such as domestic violence, homelessness, or refugee status. Your role will not only involve therapy but also active advocacy, providing a supportive environment for these individuals to heal and thrive.

• Must possess a current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for effective workload management.

Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, particularly those affected by mood disorders and trauma, is highly desirable. Familiarity with state and federal regulations concerning mental health documentation and patient care is also beneficial.
