Job description

Position: Quality Coordinator / Manager
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator / Manager to join a premier global supplier in the rapidly growing electronics industry. This role supports the design, prototyping, and production of flexible circuits, rigid-flex circuits, flexible heaters, and membrane switches, along with value-added Assembly/EMS to complete product box builds. The ideal candidate is customer-focused and committed to providing responsive service and support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and maintain Quality Systems within the manufacturing industry.
  • Support team members in meeting customer needs and requirements, including Surveys, Quality Agreements, RMA Process, REACH and RoHS, CMRT data, and compilation of global and regulatory compliance data.
  • Coordinate between local team members, Asia-based teams, and customers regarding Customer and Manufacturing Quality and Conformance requirements.
  • Assist in coordination and investigative efforts for the RMA process from notification through resolution.
  • Collaborate with Asia-based team members to resolve and implement both external and internal Quality-related items and improvements.
  • Work with Regulatory, Government, and Compliance agencies as needed.
  • Serve as an integral team member for internal, Asia-based, and Customer-related audits and processes.
  • Compile, graph, and track various ISO inputs/outputs through processes.
Requirements & Skills
  • Experience as a member of a Quality team or a similar role within manufacturing sectors.
  • Understanding of medical manufacturing, including process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), DMR, CAPA, and FDA requirements is ideal.
  • Proficiency with software platforms including Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF, and ERP database software; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong business communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability and willingness to work with and train team members and customers on a global scale.
  • Aptitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the Electronics/PCB industry.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.
  • Experience with internet-based Customer Portals and remote site-based inputs is advantageous.
Certifications & Knowledge
  • Familiarity with global and regulatory Quality requirements within electronics manufacturing for consumer, medical, and automotive sectors.
  • Working knowledge of ISO Standards including ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, and related programs such as PFAS, CMRT, REACH, and RoHS.
  • Knowledge of medical quality procedures and FDA regulations.
