Your primary focus will be on children ages 3-20 who face various developmental and intellectual disabilities. This includes, but is not limited to, children exhibiting special needs, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics requiring intervention. You will play an essential role in enhancing their quality of life and helping families navigate complex challenges, thereby directly contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Florida is mandatory.
  • Availability to provide a minimum of 5-10 hours each week during after-school hours, preferably between 4 pm and 7 pm; weekend availability is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering positive behavior support, specifically within a therapeutic context.
  • Prior work experience with children in the age range of 3-20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and access to a reliable registered vehicle.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of our client population.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, Open Sky Healing Counseling provides:

  • A dynamic work environment that fosters professional development.
  • Ongoing job training to help you grow in your role and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices.

  • Short and long-term disability coverage for peace of mind.
  • A 401K plan to assist in your retirement planning.
