The role of the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will be performed remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes or other safe environments. • Conduct thorough intake assessments to gauge the presenting concerns and background of clients.
• Gather comprehensive patient histories to inform treatment strategies and therapeutic alliances.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions that may include individual, couple, and family therapy in accordance with clients' needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating psychoeducational techniques and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all records are accurate and comply with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed to enrich client care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in community outreach programs organized by the clinic.

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing relational challenges and mental health issues. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, focusing on relationship counseling, conflict resolution, and other pertinent interventions. Your therapeutic approach will be tailored to meet each client’s unique situation, fostering strong therapeutic alliances that enhance client engagement and treatment efficacy.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
• Certification in one or more therapeutic modalities, such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, or narrative therapy.
• At least one year of post-licensure clinical experience; additional experience in community mental health settings is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, empathetic interactions with clients.
• Bilingual communication skills are highly valued, as it can enhance service delivery to non-English speaking clients.

• Experience utilizing technology platforms for teletherapy, including video conferencing software and electronic health records.
• Familiarity with psychoeducational interventions and group therapy practices.
• Previous work in a community health clinic setting is preferred and will provide valuable insights into our client base and care delivery model.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
