Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate care team. This position is remote, allowing flexibility and the comfort of working from home. However, therapists will also engage with clients in an outpatient office setting when necessary. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds and therapeutic needs.
• Gather and document detailed patient histories to inform treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing your expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals and circumstances.
• Track and document patient progress, maintaining comprehensive records as required by regulatory standards.

Our client base includes diverse individuals and families facing a range of concerns, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will focus on providing psychoeducation and relationship counseling, utilizing approaches such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy to empower clients in their journeys toward healing. Your role will directly influence client outcomes by helping them build meaningful connections and cope with life’s challenges effectively.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
• Certification in one or more recognized therapeutic modalities, demonstrating a robust skill set.
• At least one year of clinical experience post-licensure is preferred, illustrating practical competency in the field.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset.
