What will you doJohnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated Product Parts Applications Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting under general directions, this role is critical to the success of our Applied and Industrial Refrigeration Aftermarket Parts business.The Product Parts Applications Specialist is responsible for product pricing administration, part number creation and maintenance, and serving as a key liaison among product managers, suppliers, support teams, and other internal stakeholders.This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, availability, and competitiveness of our aftermarket portfolio while supporting the ongoing growth and profitability of the business. The specialist will also assist in resolving complex product and application inquiries, delivering timely and effective solutions that enhance the customer's experience.This role offers a unique opportunity to develop broad product and business knowledge while making a direct impact on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and the continued growth of Johnson Controls' aftermarket parts business.This is a remote position.How will do it
  • Administer product pricing and maintain pricing integrity across assigned product lines.
  • Create, update, and manage aftermarket part records, attributes, and system data.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Product Management, suppliers, customer service, technical support, and other key stakeholders.
  • Research and resolve complex product application, pricing, and availability inquiries.
  • Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions, supplier transitions, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze product and business data to support pricing decisions, product strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide responsive, professional support to internal and external customers while ensuring a positive customer experience.
What we look forRequired:
  • Three years of HVAC industry/product experience
  • Ability to comprehend Microsoft Suite Software, have mechanical aptitude, and general understanding of HVAC aftermarket.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product management, pricing strategy, and aftermarket business operations.
PreferredAssociate's degree or technical school degree.Five or more years of HVAC experienceHIRING SALARY RANGE: $83,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
