• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and updates on client progress, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Regularly monitor students’ situations and follow up to assess improvements, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Collaborate closely with school staff and parents to ensure comprehensive support for the students, addressing academic and behavioral challenges as they arise.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies and interventions in your practice, such as cognitive behavioral techniques and play therapy, to engage students effectively.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record systems, adhering to necessary regulations and confidentiality standards.

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom face diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including school administrators, parents, and mental health professionals, to ensure that each child’s emotional and developmental needs are met holistically.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical setting, preferably working within a school environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for counseling, advising, and collaborating with clients and professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Empathy and coaching skills to support clients in making positive lifestyle changes.

• Experience working in a school setting or similar environments.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and various assessment tools.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and resources available in the school system.
