Job description

Make a positive impact on students’ lives as a remotely based Special Education teacher and case manager. In this contract role, you’ll provide high-quality virtual instruction and support for a group of approximately 35 students, ensuring they receive the tailored education and advocacy they deserve. Your expertise and compassion will empower learners to achieve their fullest potential—all while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of remote work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Oregon TSPC teaching license with Special Education endorsement required
  • Demonstrated experience teaching and case managing students with diverse special education needs
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Skilled at collaborating with families, general education teachers, and related service professionals
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and virtual learning platforms for instruction, meetings, and documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Case manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, ensuring IEPs are current and goals are met
  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students virtually, adapting curriculum to unique learner needs
