La Grande School District is accepting applications for the following position:
Paraeducator I - Central Elementary
3.5 hours/day, school days
POSITION OVERVIEW: Work under the direct supervision of the teacher to support instructional activities in and out of the classroom as well as lunch recess supervision. May be assigned or reassigned to different schools based on District and student need.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or G.E.D. A minimum of two years (72 quarter credit hours) of higher education, an Associate's Degree or have met rigorous standards of quality in math, reading, and writing through the WorkKeys Assessment. Must undergo a fingerprint background check.
INITIAL SALARY RANGE: $17.31 - $20.26 per hour.
POSITION START DATE: Beginning with the 2026-27 School Year - August 31, 2026
