Job description

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

BEDDY'S IS PROUD TO PROVIDE A WORK ENVIRONMENT FOCUSED ON BEING FAIR, FLEXIBLE, AND FUN OUR EMPLOYEES TAKE CARE OF ONE ANOTHER AND WORK AS A TEAM IN VARIOUS ROLES AS NEEDED.

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday (4 hours per day). Work hours are flexible but need to be scheduled between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Friday is a remote workday.

Location: Beddy's offices; 5491 Hammerfest Dr. #201 South Jordan, UT 84009.

Pay: Dependent upon experience


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with Vice President of Brand and Product and Principal Designer to create compelling and engaging designs that reflect the brand
  • Take direction from written and spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, templates, and other designs
  • Contribute/design aesthetics for the company, including marketing campaigns, social media content, and website design.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience to create cohesive, brand-specific collateral
  • Ensure a cohesive brand image throughout all collateral
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
  • Implement and monitor brand and style guidelines
  • Utilize Ai to create and/or refine compelling concepts, copy, and design

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hustle and exceptional work ethic are a must
  • 2+ years in professional graphic design
  • Proficient experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Understanding of file preparation and basic HTML & CSS languages
  • Adaptive design eye and skill
  • Ai experience and willingness to use the tool to aid concepts, copy, and design
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong visualization and mock-up skills are necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
