Work Environment

The position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients through our secure telehealth platform. We offer a collaborative virtual work environment where mental health professionals can share insights, resources, and support each other. Our remote setup promotes work-life balance and flexibility, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and family groups, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on initial assessments and adjust them over time to reflect client progress and challenges.
• Document all client interactions, treatment modifications, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring client confidentiality.
• Engage in regular consultations with a team of fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and share best practices.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health treatment strategies and telehealth practices through continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselor will serve a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Issues may range from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties and trauma recovery. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping clients navigate their therapeutic journeys in a supportive and confidential environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• An active and unrestricted California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a virtual therapy context.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth environment or with online therapy platforms is a significant advantage.
• Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that address client goals.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
