Job Summary
The Order Fulfillment Specialist will be a resource for fulfilling intercompany transfers, purchased goods, and our connectivity business. They will help ensure accurate and achievable promise dates for customer orders based on available inventory and supply, and will monitor, analyze, and report performance against key fulfillment metrics, escalating risks and issues as needed. This position will report directly to our Director, Order Fulfillment and will support the team. This position can be remote or hybrid, based near our Indianapolis Office.
You will make an impact in the following ways
  • Analyze the open order book (backlog).
  • Support promise date accuracy by evaluating inventory availability and constraints and recommending achievable promise dates.
  • Own reporting and insights for fulfillment performance to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Support resolution of fulfillment issues, escalating complex issues as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely and accurate order status information and resolve complex issues.
  • Partner with Logistics and Warehouse teams to optimize coordination and prioritization of outbound shipments.
  • Work proactively with Material Management to understand and mitigate schedule constraints and ensure product availability.

What you will bring
  • Education -Bachelor's degree, in Operations or Business related major preferred
  • Experience - Minimum three (3) years of related experience, experience navigating intercompany transfers and third-party sourcing preferred
  • Skills - Excel, AS400, SAP, Hyperion/Toad reporting, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $67,100-$90,200 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
