Role: Sr Oracle Visual Developer (VCBS)

Location: Remote in US

Contract Duration: One year

We are seeking for someone to build and develop Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and possess a strong background in integrating various systems via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role is crucial for building robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive web and mobile applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Integration Development: Build and manage REST and SOAP APIs, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to integrate VBCS applications with JD Edwards and other enterprise/third-party systems.
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application issues, integration failures, and performance bottlenecks in VBCS and OIC environments.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for designs, integrations, and deployed solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Oracle Cloud updates and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and user experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) in designing, developing, and deploying applications.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including integration flows, adapters, and API management.
  • Proven experience working with JD Edwards or other ERP/enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP services, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for front-end development within VBCS.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across functional and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and currently located within the U.S.
