The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our Service Washington division. This person will lead client growth, retention, and renewal through the delivery of quality, value, relationship building/maintenance, and delivering upon client's business objectives. Additional responsibilities include:

 Account Management

  • Manage, implement and deliver per the agreed upon growth KPI's.

  • Act as an escalation point for resolving complex customer requirements for assigned accounts.

  • Responsible for the overall financial performance of account.

  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables.

Business Development

  • Lead client growth by identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities for new and existing clients while collaborating with other divisions.

  • Renew and expand services within assigned client base.

  • Identify and acquire new strategic accounts to meet annual sales goals

Operations / Projects Responsibility

  • Assists Operations Manager in identifying and implementing tactics to attain team's and customer's goals.

  • Assist in, or lead, the design of Service Projects

Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction, management, business administration or a minimum five (5) years customer account management experience.

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred, knowledge of CRM a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex, major accounts, with a proven track-record of significant revenue growth, and overall account retention.

The pay range for this position is $93,600 - $163,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
